New BMW X5 2003 Cars pictures and specification prices reviews
BMW X5 arrived in Australia in November 2000. It was a class-leading proposition that also changed the way we looked at four-wheel-drives.
Soft-roaders weren't new, but the BMW most successfully combined the looks and attitude of a big off-roader with dynamics that were acceptable to drivers of conventional cars.
Being an expensive vehicle when new, many X5s were privately leased or acquired according to whatever salary-sacrifice could be negotiated. Which means that early examples will be coming out of those leases about now. Get ready for a wave of good quality, well-maintained X5s hitting second-hand car yards.
