 The show was smaller than I thought it would be and didn't have that much going on but it had some beautiful models and a couple of really far out choppers on display.

MotoGP racing season will begin today at the Losail, Qatar. In addition to presenting the most prestigious motor race in the world, today the car guards MotoGP will show teeth.

To race this season, the BMW 1 Series M Coupe will serve as MotoGP Safety Car. Although no BMW motorcycles that participated in this prestigious motor racing stage, BMW's involvement in providing MotoGP Safety Car has entered the season to 13.



This car is shown in the official qualifying session that was held yesterday (19 / 3). Well, because this is the car motors tight guard, then the attribute yng pinned in this car was certainly different from the BMW 1 Series M Coupe on the market.

MTT Turbine Superbike, also known as Y2K Turbine Superbike, is a motorcycle powered by a turbine engine, created by Ted McIntyre of Marine Turbine Technologies Inc., and appear only under the Suzuki GSX-R750. Powered by Rolls Royce Allison 250 series turboshaft, producing 238kW (320hp), this motor has the highest recorded speed of 227 mph (365 km / h), with a price tag of U.S. $ 150,000. This was recognized by Guinness World Records as the "Strong production motorcycle" and "Most expensive production motorcycle". Unlike other contemporary motorcycles (such as the Hayabusa), 2001 and later models do not have the MTT Turbine Superbike 300 km / h speed limit self-imposed by Japanese manufacturers. MTT has achieved a rating of 1 out of 10 on the fastest motorcycle.


02. Suzuki GSX-R1000

Power: 142 kW (191 hp) @ 12,000 rpm
Transmission: 6-speed, constant mesh, Back-torque limiting clutch

Introduced in 2001, YZF R1 powered by a 999 cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke inline four-cylinder. Too tops out at 185 miles per hour. It features dual hydraulic disc brakes in front and one behind.

03. Suzuki Hayabusa

Engine: 1340 cc (82 cu in), 4-stroke, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve
Top Speed: 188 miles per hour (303 km/h)
Power: 197 horsepower (147 kW) @ 6750 rpm
Transmission: 6-speed, constant mesh

Named Hayabusa, directly translated from Japanese as Pergerine Falcon, the bird commonly attributed of reaching speeds over 180 mph (290 km / h) and predator of the common blackbird. Name Suzuki Hayabusa is a subtle reference to Honda's competing Hawk models. When introduced in 1999, Suzuki Hayabusa overtake the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird as the fastest production motorcycle. The first generation was called the GSX1300R Hayabusa and supported by a 1299 cc (79.2 cu in) inline-4 liquid-cooled engine. In the U.S., 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa will boast a price tag of $ 11,999.


04. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

Engine: 998 cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve cylinder head
Top speed: 186 miles per hour (300km/h)
Power: 147 kW (197 hp) @ 12,500 rpm
Transmission: 6-speed

Ninja ZX-10R is at number four. It is the successor to the ZX-9R sport bike. It has an ultra-narrow chassis, low weight, and radial brakes. Usually very salable in the market.



05. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14

Engine: 1352 cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled,DOHC, four valve per cylinder,inline-four
Top speed: 185 miles per hour (299km/h)
Power: 142 kW (190 hp) @ 12,500 rpm
Transmission: 6-speed

This is the strongest Kawasaki Motorcycles. Introduced at the Tokyo 2005 show, ZX-14 is not 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds. Also known as the ZZR1400, was also featured in Fifth Gear. This can cover a quarter mile in 9.783 seconds.


06. Ducati 1198R

Engine: 90° V-twin cylinder, 4-valve per cylinder Desmodromic, liquid cooled
Top speed: 185 miles per hour (299km/h)
Power: 134 kW (180 hp) @ 9,750 rpm
Transmission: 6-speed

Introduced in 2009, Ducati Ducati 1998 is the successor to 1098. The 1198R from the Italian manufacturer is available in red, black and white.



07. Yamaha YZF R1

Engine: Forward Inclined Parallel 4-cylinder, 20 valves, DOHC, liquid-cooled
Top Speed: 186miles per hour (297 km/h)
Power: 128.2 horsepower (95.6 kW) at 10000 rpm
Transmission: Constant mesh 6-speed

Yamaha launched the YZF-R1 after redesigning the engine Bike Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle, introduced in 1998, was the first significant motorcycle in the true liter class (1,000 cc) "handling arms race" among Japan's four major motorcycle manufacturers (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha). 09. Aprilia RSV4

Power: 132 kW (178 hp) @ 12,500 rpm
Transmission: 6-speed, wet clutch

It is the successor of the Aprilia RSV 1000 R motorcycle which began production in 2004. RSV4 was unveiled at the International Piaggio Group Convention in Milan, Italy. During the full first season of World Superbike racing and Max Biaggi RSV4 ship reached the podium 9 times, and won one race at the Brno circuit.


10. Ducati 848

Engine: 849 cc (51.8 cu in), 4 valves per cylinder desmodromic liquid cooled L-twin
Top speed: 159 miles per hour (256km/h)
Power: 100 kW (134 hp) @ 10,000 rpm
Transmission: 6-speed, wet clutch

It is the successor RSReplacing Aprilia Ducati 749, with a weight of 370 Pounds and published in 2007. Model 2009 is available in colors Red and Pearl White. It features 848 more shares by 1198 from its predecessor, the 749, like the swingarm one hand, and swept the same footprint and same angle valve.

Modified Motor've not surprised. But this one is a bit extreme. Electric-powered motor is 5.2 meter in length. Whew ...

Presented during a ceremony Zhejiang International Bicycle Exhibition-Cycle Electric, an electric motor along the 5.2-meter can be driven by the 8 adults and the author had submitted his work for the World's Longest Electric Bike Guinness Record.

Greg is an active 2 wheeled biker. The first time this person rode on one, this individual knew this was the best way to drive through the open road in the hopes of adventure.



When this individual got married, a part of this biker wanted to settle down and keep the memory of the past behind. This is the reason that this father of two would sometimes bring the kids out around the neighborhood to reminisce this memory.


State laws require the biker to wear a helmet when driving on the street. The passengers are also required to do the same even if the one in the back is a kid.

Greg knew that helmets for kids are not available where the motorcycle was purchased. This is because the place only sold models for adults so none of these will fit. The best place to go to then is the sports shop since people can get helmets for skateboarding and bicycling.

Here are tips to get the right motorcycle helmet for the kid.

· Before putting it on the child, it will be a good idea to check for defects such as cracks, loose padding, frayed straps or exposed metal that could be unsafe for the child.




· If its safe to put on, the parent must make sure that his will snugly go around the child's head. If this is too heavy, this should be changed for something else. This should be worn for 30 minutes to make sure it is comfortable for those long trips.

· To prevent this from falling off, it is advisable to get the one that has strong straps with two rings so it can be securely fastened.

· The helmet for the kid should be just like the driver's that come in bright colors such as red, yellow, white or orange. This should be made of reflective material that may have stickers in the back or in the sides making it easy for motorists in the back to notice there is a motorcycle in front many yards away.

· The best helmets to buy should be those that have a sticker inside certifying that this has gone numerous tests.

After about an hour in the shop, Greg was able to find two helmets for the kids. The family then went home so everyone can get on the bike and make that first road trip a few blocks away from where these people lived.

Head Turners on the Road

A lot of buzz is going on about the mini Harley chopper scooter, and teens are going crazy over these trendy bikes. If your child is moping for one, then you have to go over the pros and cons before getting one. You have to think real fast, because they are short of supply.

If its France-based designers are to be believed then the Icare motorcycle concept is supposed to be a cross between something from Tron and “a kind of Porsche or Aston Martin for the two-wheeled world.” I guess anyone who thought this was just another bike concept can really stuff it and marvel at the wonder that is this Enzyme Design exclusive.



Inspired by light cycles from TRON and housing a six-cylinder 1.8 liter Honda engine revving up more heat than what you’d find in some compact cars, this one sure is a hottie with the muscle to prove it.

The show was a great way to spend a winter weekend out of the cold and dreaming of riding and racing.
